Synchronistic Chaos Part 3 – Manifesting Our Intentions

Posted on October 3, 2007 in Inspiration, Positive Psychology, Self-Help, Shamanism, Spirituality by Rebekita.

I wrote a question on 22nd July in my blog Synchronistic Chaos part 2:

How can I know which of my intentions will become reality, in a certain timeframe and which will not, believing that all intentions are fulfilled but not necessarily when we would like them to be?”

I am beginning to understand the answer…..

Recently, circumstances have changed and we need to move to a bigger property in London. At this moment we do not have the financial resources to even consider moving, especially as prices in London are so inflated. So we have decided to do some manifesting and have put out intention for our dream house. Every night we spend some time just pouring energy into the intention and imagining ourselves living there.

However, despite all the intentioning and visualization, there was a part of me that was not fully feeling it. There was some hidden fear of change and what it will mean to leave my safe studio flat that I know and love and start a brand new home!!! Yet the desire to move on is so great that I am locked in a battle of wills – my fear vs my love.

In the last two days I have been getting in touch with this fear. What am I afraid of? Because that is what is stopping me from manifesting everything and anything I want. That is why intentions can manifest in an instant – or take time to manifest. It all depends on the fear that is blocking the way forward.

I know now it has very little to do with whether I am a good person or not an important belief to dissolve, as this belief has been my underlying thought form for most of my life. Things manifest because we have an intention, whether we are aware of it or not. It is one of the fundamental Laws of Nature.

So here I am in this moment, aware and conscious of my fear, and willing to move through it in order to create my dreams. ‘Is this the Truth?’ I hear my fear cry!!! In my heart I know it is because I manifested Don Juanito and learnt from him and the ayahuasca in the Amazon.

There is no easy way to go through the fear. The key is to change the way we think about ourselves. So at every moment I am seeing myself in a different light, and in seeing myself differently I can change the way I feel about myself. This process is timeless, it can take a minute, an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year, a decade, a lifetime. But once we change the way we feel about ourselves the external world begins to reflect our shift in consciousness.

This is true freedom, this is true empowerment ….

Autumn Equinox – Quarter Point Festival

Posted on September 23, 2007 in Self-Help, Spirituality by Rebekita.

This is the autumn quarter point when night and day reach equal length once again, before the days become shorter than the nights. It is a celebration for the abundance that fills our lives and the festival of thanksgiving when we harvest our ideas, visions, and dreams. The balance between light and dark is once again restored at this time of preparation for the coming winter.

Once the harvest is complete it is the time to get on with creating our dreams, visions and goals until the planting next spring. It is also the opportunity to go within and find the space to really acknowledge our strengths and weaknesses.

This is a good time to invite family and friends to gather to share the abundance of the harvest crop. Ask everyone to bring a dish to share made from seasonal food. Don’t forget to acknowledge and celebrate the abundance of Gaia as you share her fruits.
Decorate your alter with autumn leaves, seed and nuts and burn orange, green and brown candles.

If you have a garden, or even a window box, plant some spring bulbs, or seeds as a metaphor for what you wish to grow in your own life.

Remember to get rid of clutter and start the new cycle with a clearer outlook and new renewed energy.

Love and Hugs

ABC’s – Xcellerate your efforts

ABC’s – Xcellerate your efforts

Basically, if you want to excel your efforts, then clean up your “house”. By which I mean, “Mind, Body and Soul”. Reconnect these three as they all can get you where you want to be. And then, amazing speed, agility and miraculous things can happen.

This includes how you feel about all of your “relationships”: Getting to know your emotional guidance system

* With Self – spiritual, intellectual, physical.
* With People – I do this by role type: Parents / Bosses, Children / Employees, Friends / Colleagues, etc.
* With Things – Money, Property, Heirlooms

As you find out how you Feel about things as they “are”, Ask yourself these questions:

* What about this is important to me?
* Is it something I want to keep or remove?
* If I choose to keep it, were does it belong?

Then, fill your tool box: Now that you know what is important, is “how” you cared for that still working?

* Now that I know what is important to me, how do I feel about how I cared, got, did this before?
* Did I feel tired? Did I feel refreshed? How do I do it better for me?
* Do I have the answer for that or do I need new information?

I have found for me, I have a yearly cycle. My “year end” is May 13. My “Start of Year” is May 14. The week following is for transitioning closing down and opening up. And through this past “year” I now can hear my soul with clarity. And I now see that I have always done this and have put out what I will accomplish in the coming year.

May 2006 – I took stock in my marriage, my family, my children and my job. By May 2007, I had changed ALL of those situations. They were all closed and I was staged for something new. I had completed my education.

May 2007 – I took into consideration all that I had learned and now went for what I wanted. I have now found my soul partner, my children are accelerating and I have time for them. I have found my business partners and am starting that as well. My relationships with those closest to me are now solid and flourishing. This will be one amazing year in full creation.

My toolbox is full. I have the skill and know how. I can determine quickly if it is a want for me or others and determine it’s importance and priority in my life.

So understand your want, visualize it fully, listen to how you ask for your wants and then Xcellerate it by filling your tool box with exercises that help you do this with each decision you make.

Have a blessed time creating.

ABC’s – Want it more than anything

ABC’s – Want it more than anything

This goes right in line with the last two blogs – understanding yourself (and your wants), visualizations (taking the time to see and “build that big picture” of what the want is…. and then…. constructing the WANT statement and removing or getting the information you need in order to do it.

To clarify how to know that you want is “pure” the old saying stands, when you construct your want statement there should be “No ifs, ands or buts”. This is kind of an exercise of removing any road blocks or red tape. Staging the “environment” so it is conducive to the receiving of the want.

Now this is not to say that these words would not be applicable depending. Just be aware, if you do have one of the ifs, ands, or buts in your want statement, be aware that they will affect the outcome of the want.

Example -

* I want to win the Lottery to pay for school, but if I don’t I can get a student loan.

Don’t or the word not, will always take the item away. The “lack of” is what you are attracting.
And, you just stated that “I can do it this other way”.
So really, you don’t “need” it or expect you will get it.

* I want to win the Lottery to pay for school, if no one else needs it more because I can get by.

You selfless, generous person you. Of course someone else needs it more.

* I want to win the Lottery to pay for school and I will by my mom a car.

You are generous and you have now promised to do more with it.
But now you are down a path that you now have to commit to what you
are going to do with all the money before the want is met.
Are you feeling a little guilty about winning?

* I want to win the Lottery for pay for school and I want to win today.

Good for you. How is that going to happen? Will it be mailed to you?
Will someone be buying that for you just on a whim? You still need to take action.

This is the strength statement:

* This is the winning ticket.

So you now have the winning ticket in your hand before the draw.
Do you really believe this? Or are any of those ifs, ands, or buts,
from above still in your head?

All the action has been completed (ticket was actually purchased before draw) :) (kind of import part there). The “ifs, ands, or buts” are removed and the want is pure.

Wow…. that was fun. Hee hee hee. I also have another blog started on how I got to this realization. This has been a great day.

Have a blessed day. And here is to all your wants.

ABC’s – Visualize it

ABC’s – Visualize it

You know, I struggled with this one through the years. My Sports Coaches would say it, my Professors would say it, my counselor, my boss…. but I still didn’t quite get to the “goal”. So I thought. :) I had, however, started an internal dialog that said “I don’t know how to do that”. I was also incorrect there.

Through the last few months I have found that I did know how to visualize and I was quite good at it. The truth was, though I didn’t reach the goal that my coaches, parents, teachers, bosses, etc had wanted (or visualized) for me, I had reached mine. I enjoy sports, but my want was not to be a sports star, my want was to study sports and understand how to “coach”. And, I was successful. I also enjoy learning, and though I didn’t “complete college” what I really wanted was to understand what was needed to transition from high school to college. And, I was successful. And I can do this for each of the places in my life that I had originally marked down as “unsuccessful” previously.

See, what I had found was though I didn’t not reach the end result that others would have wanted, I had reached the end result for me. I wanted knowledge on “how” things were done. This included and most importantly “parenting”. And I can now with full honesty to myself… I am successful. (I will safe more on that for a later blog.)

What ever means works for you, from what ever source that is safe for you… I recommend taking time to fully understand what “visualization” is. And how it works for you. This includes all the senses and emotions that come with it. When you do, you can dramatically effect change in your life and get to your wants with amazing precision and speed.

Have a most blessed day!

ABC’s – Understand yourself in order to better understand others

ABC’s – Understand yourself in order to better understand others

Really? I think and believe that this statement can go in both directions. “Understand others in order to better understand yourself”. Though, the second can make the process a lot longer. But does work. :)

This one was a little tough for me at first. I SO understood others…. I was the one that was “different”. And I know several people that understood themselves very well, but thought everyone else was confused. :)

Either way that you come to this one, it still works. I initially got really good at looking at myself (and healing) by learning about how my kids are. The uniqueness of each of them and the similarities in development cycles.

I think it should also be noted, that the best way to get to know your preferences and understand yourself is to REALLY pay attention to “why” you feel a certain way when you experience something. Note your initial reaction and when you have time, sit down quietly with yourself or a close confidant and ask yourself “Why do I feel that way?” and “What does that mean to me?”. Then when you have those answers, you can ask yourself “What do I want to do about that?” Then, before actually “taking action”, ask yourself “How would my action make me feel?” and “Will I respect myself for taking that action?”.

I have found through my journey over the past few months that when I take time to do this type of exercise at minimum once a day, I can and have invoked massive change in my life in a relatively short amount of time. And days that I feel “undone” most of the day, I slow down, ask myself the questions (or similar) through each step of the day… and by the end of the day, I have completed a multitude of things, my strength is intact and I feel good about my whole day! And then rest is so much more pleasant and I am not carrying things over to the next day (residual negativity).

Throughout my life, I felt I didn’t “know” myself. And I really enjoyed doing for others. Though, for many years and at different times, I felt and thought that it was my “job” to be there and help others. Well that didn’t “feel good”, but when I asked myself if I gave up doing for others, how would I feel. Well, I would have felt “worse”… so I continued on doing for others. What I found though, is as I helped others, I was actually getting to know me more. Understanding myself more. I had the desire to be there, providing support and doing for others, but I just didn’t understand why. Through doing what “felt” right to me, I learned and started to understand myself through understanding others.

What ever direction you take to finding or understanding self (and this is respectful understand of, not “beating yourself up” stuff) :) take the time to do it. Ask yourself the questions that you would if you were helping someone else. And remember that you deserve respectful communication and support….. even from yourself. :)

I can truly attest to the fact, that once you find your “center” your ability to create and manifest change is dramatically increased and you can do amazing things is a matter of moments.

Have a blessed day!

ABC’s – Take control of your own destiny

ABC’s – Take control of your own destiny

How did I take control of my destiny? Hmmm…. there are so many layers to this. I have now have a reference set of books that I utilize to help others help themselves and that have helped me to “take control”.

1) The Bible. Which I have started to re-read. (For the spiritual guidance)
2) “The Law of Attraction” and “Ask and It Shall be Given” (For the rules of how this all works)
3) South Beach diet book (For the health and support of a body)
4) “What to expect when you are expecting” Series of books… (for the physical development cycles)
5) “The Baby Whisper” series of books (about communication, respect and emotional development)
6) still researching…. coming soon
7) still researching…. coming soon

When I started to study “Ask and It Shall be Given” and understanding the law of attraction, I found many places that outwardly I was asking in the negative voice. Just removing that did a lot to change my experiences. Then I noticed, though my outward voice was changing, what I was getting back was still “disjointed”. I then found that my internal voice had it’s own words. I started to clearly see that some of my “definitions” were all messed up. I and my sister went back to the basics and true meanings for all words. This helped to clear up my own internal chatter and helped me to see where I was “hurt” or where I had made some strong “choices” in the past.

Ask all of my internal and external communication straighted out, and I had started to heal my body from the inside out…. I found I could think more clear. Allowing time to heal the emotional self. I no longer “gave in” to other’s desires by giving up on mine. And as I started to “cleanse” my emotional, soulful, physical and external houses…. I found more energy, more strength, more ….. lets say, I found the true “ME”…

I now take full responsibility and pride in my life, my dreams, my health, etc. I am for the first time in my adult life, truly happy. I know now how to help someone else by simply being keeping myself centered and healthy. I know now that I DO have the choice on how I feel about a situation. And if an emotion does trigger, I use it to guide my choices versus ignoring the feelings.

The time spent to heal oneself with intent is well worth the investment. Now the original dreams I came here to do initially are now back on track and thriving. There is still a lot of cleansing of the “old life” to do, but I am centered, I am strong and I am happy.

Here’s to a most wonderful journey for all of us.

Have a blessed day!

ABC’s – Stop procrastinating

ABC’s – Stop procrastinating

What does this one look like for you? This is one of the words that I had the definition “twisted up” for many years. For a long time, I thought that taking time to sit still was procrastinating. Oh… but it wasn’t. Sitting or standing “still” for a moment was actually a positive action. Then when I was assisting my niece and some other younger friends through tough times, I would easily say to them, just do “something”, always take a step forward. Not that they would have to be “big” steps, just get moving. And while I saw these things solidifying, yet another one came to light. A lot of times people don’t do anything because of fear… mostly of the unknown.

What all this turned into for me, was that taking time to sit, to be calm, would help me get to processing and thinking mode. Then, when done “collecting my data and sorting” it was time to move so that the actions could start again. I have always been comforted by knowledge and learning new things. So I actually took “action” by finding more information.

So to others, I would look like I was procrastinating, I found that I rarely do. And if I am, then I need to allow myself time to sit. Do a little something each day and celebrate my accomplishments instead of beating myself up for not getting MORE done. One bite at a time. :)

Have a blessed day.

ABC’s – Read, study and learn about everything important in your life

ABC’s – Read, study and learn about everything important in your life

Actually, from “Women at Heart / Word of Heart” I got something that fit for this so well. I have included that below. I can say, that once you find your “true center” the “struggle” goes away. And true understanding and happiness starts.

************************************************************

LEARNING TO BE REAL

“What we learn with pleasure we never forget.”

– Alfred Mercier

Educator John Holt contended that learning is a natural process that happens to anyone who is busy doing something real for its own sake. We don’t have to be taught how to learn. We begin learning about life in the womb and if we remain curious, we never stop.

A young student, Jamaal M. Watson, has offered a beautiful new twist to the concept of education: “Each of us has a one-of-a-kind identity – just as we all have one-of-a-kind fingerprints – and what education means is to develop that unique personality so that we each know who we are. Self-discovery is at the bottom of being somebody real. …To discover yourself and find your path through life, you need to have lots of firsthand experiences, mostly on your own in tough situations. It doesn’t do much good to get these experiences second hand from books.”

“You can learn new things at any time in your life if you’re willing to be a beginner. If you actually learn to like being a beginner, the whole world opens up to you.”

– Barbara Sher

Wow, it has been awhile…

Hi y’all.

So, I am going to have some new books to put out here and you will definitely “hear” a tone change in my writing. I do so believe in the “Law of Attraction”. I don’t however agree with calling this a “secret”… come on, it’s how everything works… why do we need to keep that a secret? :)

After looking back over the past three and a half years (oh… almost 4) I had quite literally started down a path to manifest a new reality for myself. And once I was “complete” with the journey to center, I can quite clearly see where I made choices that took me away from what I truly wanted. And, I can see where I “fought” or “re-taught” myself so that I could get back to it.

I feel now that I have the tools, the knowledge and the strength to face any challenge, know how to be my own best friend, comfortable with asking for help and receiving gifts. And thankful for all that I am, have been and will be. Now, I am able to love freely, care completely and be strong for those around me.

I will be finishing up with the ABC’s, and somewhere in my “notes” over the past two months, I have another abc list that better fits with my “new” perspective. I won’t make that one as long, cause now I am not “fighting” for center. I have found center and now am back to creating and growing and thriving…. WOW… this stuff is good.

Thanks again to Nat and Michael for getting this site started. It has been very therapeutic for me. To Flo for all her insights. To Rebekah for reminding me to change the sheets. :) And to GOD for bringing us all toghether!!!
