Where You Are is Where You Are Supposed to Be

I’ve been living this belief/philosophy for several years now. I firmly believe that I am always where I am supposed to be at any given time. Even if I am experiencing delays in travel or some plans don’t work out the way I had planned, I do not get upset or have anxiety anymore.

I’ve heard of too many times where people ended up late to some event and find out later that they “missed” an accident. Or by experiencing an delay, you met a new friend or had a wonderful adventure that you would not have experienced except for the delay.

Sometimes though, you never find out why plans don’t work out the way they were supposed to. It really doesn’t matter. Enjoy the time you are having whatever it is. It’s the journey that is the important aspect, not the destination. Open your eyes. Look around you. You may be surprised at what you find.

On a more practical level, at the very least you’ll be less stressed when things don’t go the way you thought they would. You’ll have a nicer day and because of that a richer experience overall.

Have a great day!
